2024 GROUP LESSONS ARE MONDAY -THURSDAY FOR TWO WEEKS. THE COST IS $180.00 TOTAL FOR THE EIGHT LESSONS.

Please be aware, the water is chilly until Mid June.  If your child is a beginner, under age 6 and/or not cold tolerant, please consider choosing lesson times beginning in Mid June.

Group Class

My group classes focus on a combination of swimming techniques, water safety and stroke development in a group setting. With small class sizes and a designed series of skills to accomplish, I can individualize the class for each student. It is my goal to prepare your child for any swimming environment, whether it is recreational play or joining a swim team.

BEGINNER

Children who have no or limited swimming background. Children that don't know what to do when their face is in the water or have an adversity to having their face in the water. Beginners are not necessarily non-swimmers! Children that have been self taught and don't have foundation skills needed for proper swimming form may be best in a beginner class.

BREATH REGULATION PRACTICE SKILL

If you want to jump-start you or your child’s swimming future, learning how to blow bubbles or breath
regulation is the most important foundation swimming skill to learn. Practicing this skill prior to swimming lessons should reduce the time it takes to learn to swim and therefore save you a lot of money.

INTERMEDIATE

Children that can float on their back and swim 15 ft with face in the water using the proper kick and arm technique for correct freestyle. Treading has been introduced and can tread 5 seconds or longer.

ADVANCED

Children that can swim freestyle and backstroke a minimum of 25 ft and know or are ready to learn rotation breathing. Can demonstrate beginner Breaststroke and Butterfly skills. Can tread 2 minutes or longer.
